Insomnia struck hard last night. I went to bed at my usual time, but just could not fall asleep no matter what. I'm pretty sure I finally fell asleep somewhere between 3am and 4am... and woke up at 7:45am. I wasn't even tired most of today either. Not sure what that was all about but I'm hoping tonight is NOT a repeat performance.
I played it safe and stayed home from work today because I figured I'd be so tired from the lack of sleep but that didn't happen. Oh well, at least I got paid for it. :)
Checked my pay stub online for Friday's check and finalized my budget for 2/23 - 3/8 and posted it to my [TMMO] filter. (if you want added just let me know!)
Other than that I really haven't done much today. Hmm come to think of it, maybe last night's insomnia was similar to being a little kid on the night before Christmas... payday is coming up on Friday and I will be paying off the full balance on one of my credit cards with this paycheck. Maybe that excitement was what kept me from falling asleep when I wanted to last night.
Tomorrow during the work day I get to once again pack up my cubical and get ready to move to my new desk. At least my new supervisor works Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays so she'll at least be there on the days I am doing any overtime. She is off Tuesdays and Wednesdays so if I did no overtime at all, I'd only see her twice a week. Crap that reminds me... I need to do a search in the morning for pictures from the muppets from Dark Crystal to print one out for my new supervisor. Her team is Mary's Muppets, and each person on her team has to pick one out as their personal mascot or something. Seeing as I will be officially on her team starting Monday... it would probably be a good idea to get that done in the very near future. I am thinking of going with either Kira or Fizgig from the movie. She gave us the freedom of choosing any muppet as long as it was a Jim Henson production. Hmm... there's a Kyra (real name) on the team so that might be confusing if I were to choose Kira. I'll have to think about it tomorrow.
