So I've got a couple of options at this point.
One: I could call around getting estimates until I found a place willing to fix the car and take payments for the work on a monthly basis...
OR
Two: Get a new car... and by new, I mean used but new to me.
I think at this point I am opting towards choice two. Friend of Mom's thinks he can help me get a decent deal near where he lives (about 30 min from here). So I'm gonna call out there a bit later to see if the guy he recommended is in and talk to him and see what he has to offer. Especially since the 2nd place I called gave an estimate of $2800 at least.
