ok let's try this
Jul. 28th, 2006 09:16 amWoke up from a weird dream this morning. I dreamt that some of the people in my training class were having to go back through new hire orientation.
Work has been going well. I really like my supervisor. He is by far a LOT better than the supervisor at Lock\Line.
I didn't get the Team Captain position, but that's ok. I really haven't been at Alltel long enough to meet a few of the requirements, although I was talking to my supervisor and he thinks I'd be a great candidate for Lead Queue (the question/escalation line for regular CSRs). I think once I am eligible, and there is an opening, I will definitely be applying for that. I also can't wait for the next shift bid to happen to see what schedules are available. I am thinking I will be moving to a shift that's both after 7pm and 30 min lunch so that I get shift differential. Shift differential would pay an additional 10% of my wages just for working past 7pm. If I did that, I'd be making more money that my mom. Right now I only make $0.08 less than she does an hour.
My new glasses still have not come in yet. But going by the 7-10 business days, I guess I still have til the 1st before they are past the time I was promised.
Ok time to finish getting ready for work.
