So it looks like another trip to Wal-Mart will be in order... I was working on unpacking the boxes in the kitchen, and I got the pots and pans and the bakeware, but somehow my actual dishes, silverware and glasses are still at Mom's. It'd be cheaper to just go buy a small set of dishes until Mom either finds mine or I can afford to buy some more. Need to get groceries sometime soon anyways, and fill up my gas tank and then I'm probably going to be quite broke until my first paycheck. At least I also managed to pay a couple bills and the rest wont be due til after I get my first check or right around the time I do.

chuck_lynn called me earlier. :) Tomorrow we are going to meet up to get something to drink and visit for a bit before they drive on towards Abilene to visit a couple of the museums and sites there. I am very much looking forward to getting to meet them. We have been talking about meeting up for a long time now.
Mom called shortly after that and I told her about the missing dishes. I should have told her if she finds them, set them aside and I can come back after I get paid or something and pick them up. Maybe I will next time I talk to her. Mom is really excited about getting my old room back as her bedroom. She's been talking about all the things she plans to do as far as painting and decorating and such. My little sister talked to me for a little bit too. She really misses me, and I am sure it is a big adjustment having her big sister there one day and not there anymore. I lived there for almost 3 years this past time. I plan to write her when I can so she knows I haven't forgotten her and I know she loves to get mail.
My little sister had her very first softball game last night. She is playing in the 12 and under league, apparantly there werent any 10 and under teams this year, and as most of the girls on my sister's team are more like 8-10, they lost last night since the other team was more towards the 12 year old end. I told my sister as long as she has fun, it doesn't matter if she loses or wins. That's something I learned way back in 5th/6th grade when I played softball.
I'm not nearly as sore today as I thought I would be after the move. This is a good thing, although I'm not sure how well doing dishes is going to do since part of me that is sore is my hands. Need to finish clearing off the dining table of boxes so I can stack the dishes on it that need washed and dig out the dish drainer, dish soap and sponge and start tackling what I do have so I can at least get them cleaned before I put them away.
I also need to either find my cord for my stereo or find my computer speakers so I can listen to music again since Cox says they can't hook up my cable until the 13th. At least I have DVDs I can watch until then. I just hope they at least wait til I am home from work that day and dont come between 5 and 5:30 since I've specifically told them I work that day and will not get home until 5:30.
