So I'm home early from work

Mainly because my left shoulder was absolutely killing me... I took 5 ibuprofen between midnight and 4am and it was still hurting pretty bad. I think the ibuprofen may have finally kicked in... either that or just from sitting here not doing anything, my shoulder doesn't hurt nearly as bad...

I am going to call tomorrow to see if I can get in to see a doctor just to make sure my shoulder is ok... it's probably just from sleeping on it wrong or something, but still... so yeah... I'm home early from work... joy. I guess at least I'll get paid for the 4 hours I was there and will only miss out on 4 hours of pay this week.

um... whee?

So, I went to the doctor's this afternoon... where I was given an anti-inflammatory to take once a day, muscle relaxers that say 3 times a day but was told to skip them at night (Except for tonight) since she doesn't want me driving or working after taking one and I do have to work this week... and was told I could take extra strength tylenol on top of the whole works if needed and she also suggested I try a heating pad as well... and am supposed to follow up in 5-7 days.

So, I get to stay home from work tonight (doc gave me a note and I already dropped it off at work). Here's hoping this stuff works and gets rid of the shoulder/neck pain for good.
