yawn, yup I'm still awake

My 5 year old sister isn't feeling well. Mom thinks it could be strep. I'm taking care of my sister while Mom's working today and then I'll probably go to bed around 3:30ish when Mom gets off work. Part of this includes the trip to the Doctor's office at 1:30. I just hope that whatever it is my sister has, I don't catch it, because I really don't want to be sick right now. As it is, I am probably going to be rather tired at work tonight.

yup, she has strep

So it's official.... my 5 yr old sister has strep.  She had to get a shot since she's horrible about cooperating with mom on taking medicines.  Poor thing.  She was so scared and upset... but I was there to hold her (and help hold her down) and she made it through just fine.  They even gave her an extra sucker afterwards.  I just hope I don't catch it. 

Mom gets off work in about 15 minutes and then I can go to bed, even though I am highly tempted to just call in and not go in tonight, but that wouldn't be good for my paychecks.  I'm hoping I don't get sick because of being around my little sister the past few days.  We'll see I guess. 

Finally got my W2 today.  I made a whopping 2235.10 for all of 2003... guess i'll be getting my refund this year.  a whole 108.83 combined.  I think.  It will be going into my savings account. :)

So I'm really not wanting to go in to work tonight, but as much as I'm wishing I could just call in, I'm gonna be responsible and go anyways. Though I would much rather be back in bed sleeping for several more hours... guess I'll just go to bed earlier than usual tomorrow.
