insomnia

You know, i just *love* when I know I should be tired and ready to pass out from exhaustion, and yet somehow my brain and body both seem to say "no, amber, you're wide awake!! see? we're keeping you up longer than you want to be." OK so maybe they don't say that to me, but it sure is feeling like it right now.

I talked to my mom tonight. I told her what's going on and that I will not be returning to K-State at the end of this semester. She's very supportive of my decision to take a break from school, which is good because it's gonna make things a lot easier for me. I just need to find a job now and then find a way to get where I will be working. I am sure there are lots of #nomad'ers willing to help. For just the offers I am very grateful! :-)

Submitted my resume for one of the positions listed on join.yahoo.com and hope to hear from them soon. I also posted my resume on brassring.com so i hope to hear something out of that as well. The sooner I can find a job the better.

Am looking forward to Thanksgiving. Matt and his family invited me to go with them to Wyoming to spend Thanksgiving with Matt's sister and her husband. It should prove to be a lot of fun.

Christof aka koyote is in cali now. I need to get ahold of him and see about having him email me back a copy of a poem i started and sent to him. I reinstalled linux after emailing it to him and so now he has the only copy of it.

Oh well, i suppose i'm gonna try to go lay down and fall asleep now. Sweet dreams my lj, #nomad, and RL friends. =)
